  1. I got married young and my parents payed for everything. I had the option of a small wedding with immediate family and cash or a big expensive wedding. I went with the big expensive wedding. My sister went with small wedding and cash which she used for a down payment on a house. If I had it to do over I would have done a small wedding with my family on the beach or something.

  3. Not being a person who enjoys big gatherings, I'd go for small and intimate. Less chance of offending someone and a whole lot less expensive. lol

  5. That is what we did, drove to Las Vegas, got our wedding lic,got our tattoos, went to the chapel, and went home, great story to tell people, and then two weeks later we had a blessing and a great big party. I wore a wedding dress, and we are in our fifties, pressure was off,and we are living happily ever after.

  6. Ok, this is kind of funny. I wanted a small wedding. 20 people? My husband wanted a bigger event. So I went with it, and it kept growing. We ended up with like 120 people. Here's the funny part: if we had to do it again, he'd go small and I'd want to do large again. So I'm glad he talked me into it. ~Rhonda/Funky Bungalow
